Are you hitting a plateau in your weight loss?
If you find that you are seeing the scales not moving much then you might consider testing your VO2. I always suggest at least four days per week be devoted to exercise for at least 30 minutes . If you have already been doing this you may be working against yourself or not hard enough. The Vo2 is an exercise test that last 8-12 minutes. I will have you walk on a treadmill and have you walking while I try to get a steady increase in your heart rate. I’m looking to see where you are utilizing fat as energy verse using carbohydrate. This test takes all the guess-work out of your workout! So call to make an appointment today! 405-359-2484

Hi There Llaurenrw,
I take your point, I’m 14, 4″11, and used to weigh 112.
I lost 6 pounds in about 2-3 weeks.
P.S. don’t tell me i don’t need to lose weight. I have already talked to my doctor about this.
Anyways, i run 2 miles every morning , and walk the last 2-3 laps, so almost 3 miles.
I ride my bike for about 10-20 minutes everyday also.
I eat around 1,000 calories everyday…
I am currently 106, and was stuck at 107 for like 2 weeks because i did some cheating.. but I lose 1 pound as of yesterday. BUT, i want to avoid hitting a plateau… because I want to be 100 by August 23rd. So i don’t want to hit any. So how can i prevent it? I can’t go to a real gym. I run on my own treadmill in my house. The only other exercise machine we have is an elepticall, and a weight lifting thing that you can do all kinds of workouts on, like situps. And we also have an ab lounger . And a trampoline, if you count that.
So i don’t really know how to change up my exercise routine. And when do i need to? How long does it take to hit a plateau?
Thank youuu (:
I look forward to your next post
